We wanted to share some exciting news about the next chapter for both Belsteads and Channels.

Over the years, Belsteads has become such a special place, not only for our customers but for all of us as a team. As a family run business, creating a welcoming atmosphere and building genuine relationships with our guests has always been at the heart of what we do, and that is something we are incredibly proud of.

As Channels Hotel continues to grow, particularly with breakfast service and daily guest dining, we have reached a point where bringing the Belsteads café experience into Channels feels like the natural next step for both businesses.

Rather than saying goodbye to Belsteads, we see this as bringing the best parts of both businesses together under one roof. The move will allow us to create a more open, relaxed space where hotel guests, regular customers, and new faces alike can enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere they know us for.

Channels Hotel is also continuing to expand, with additional rooms being added to the hotel portfolio, making this an exciting time for the whole site and everyone involved.

Most importantly, Belsteads will still very much live on within Channels. Our cakes and favourite treats will continue to be part of the offering, alongside everything that guests already love about Channels Restaurant and Hotel.

We’ll also be opening 7 days a week at Channels, matching the current Belsteads opening hours, so our regular guests can continue enjoying the same experience and familiar faces throughout the week.

We are genuinely looking forward to welcoming all of Belsteads loyal customers over to Channels and continuing the community feel that has made both businesses so special over the years.

As always, feedback is hugely important to us. We want our guests to feel just as comfortable, relaxed, and looked after at Channels as they always have at Belsteads.
